The Best Way to Celebrate Valentine's Day

Image
Yes, today is Valentine’s Day in the USA. A day marked with expressions of love and affection, especially romantic love. A time of reflection for the single and the married. The moment we were redeemed by Jesus Christ’s blood sacrifice on the cross, we received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Who is one with Jesus (The Son) and The Father. At that very instant, our bodies became the Temple of God, and God in us is the most important reason to celebrate LOVE each day … If you are single, know that the Lord understands loneliness, and He does not want anyone to be alone: someone is out there, especially made for you! Today is our wedding anniversary! A perfect occasion to express in imperfect verses All that you are, my husband, to me.   Knight in shining armor, Protector, king, warrior, Heart of courage that always rises up! Your steadfastness overcomes fear.   Twelve years of imperfect humanity... Yet, we ride in perfect synchrony. For, above and within, there is One Who binds us in equally-yoked-unity!   Joy and laughter in the mountains... Unavoidable valleys of tears... Far and near, through and through You for me, my love, and I for you!!!

Kaleidoscope ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaleidoscope ), oh only those who look into one actually experience the wonder of those mutant tiny beads. And our lives can be kaleidoscopes of amazing memories, words, and deeds. Our beads. Made to be turned, round and round, by the Creator's hands. To create shapes and forms of who we can become when we allow Him to move us, turn us, transform our hearts. 'Legiao Urbana', a Brazilian band, in their song "Pais e Filhos" (Parents and Children), reminds me of life's bits and pieces in things parents and children tell each other... and of love: 'We must love people  Like there is no tomorrow For, if you stop to think, There really isn't.' 'Parents and Children' ('Pais e Filhos'), by Legiao Urbana: And here is how I have translated this song from Brazilian Portuguese into English : Statues and vaults and painted walls No one knows what went on.
